If you're looking for strong value in a compact package, the Kia Spectra5 should be on your shopping list. It represents one of the best values, with an impressive list of safety equipment for its modest price. The Spectra5 is a five-door hatchback design with a sporty attitude. It features 16-inch alloy wheels, a factory installed strut tower bar, and a fully independent sport-tuned suspension. It can seat up to five occupants with ample cargo room behind the rear seats, or the rear seats can be folded allowing much more cargo carrying capability. It is powered by a 138-hp 2.0-liter four-cylinder that is mated to a standard five-speed manual gearbox or an optional four-speed automatic transmission. Standard safety features include seat-mounted side-impact airbags and side curtain airbags.For 2009, the Kia Spectra receives standard front active headrests on all trims.
